Lauren is a Trans Male therapist who treats adults, couples, families, and adolescents, and is especially passionate about providing resources and care to the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities. He works with various clients, and while trained in a range of treatment types, he strives to tailor his therapeutic approach to each person and their unique, individual needs. Some of his specialties include working with ADHD, Autism Spectrum, OCD, collaborative care for complex health conditions, and PTSD. He also works well with domestic violence survivors and those looking to take back their power and find ways to use their voice.
Lauren utilizes gender-affirming therapy, experiential, attachment-based interventions, somatic experiencing, and internal family systems therapies. He is also trained in emotionally focused, cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, structural family, and self-compassion therapies and EMDR.

Individual Therapy: $200/session
I’m out-of-network and can provide superbills for possible reimbursement. I keep a limited number of sliding-scale spots based on need and availability.

I offer in-person sessions in San Diego, as well as online therapy for clients anywhere in California. You’re welcome to choose whichever option feels most supportive or convenient for you.

We’ll discuss what’s been feeling challenging and what you’re hoping for, and start exploring what helps you feel safe and supported. There’s no pressure to have it all figured out — our work will unfold at your pace.

That depends on your goals. Some people come for short-term support around a specific concern, while others stay longer to do deeper healing work. We’ll check in regularly to make sure therapy continues to feel useful and aligned with what you need.
