At Stillpoint Therapy Collective, we offer ketamine-assisted therapy as a compassionate, cutting-edge approach to healing for those navigating trauma, depression, anxiety, and other mental health challenges. This innovative treatment combines the benefits of ketamine with therapy to support deep healing, emotional processing, and personal growth.
You’ve done talk therapy—and yet, the same patterns keep repeating.
Many people arrive at ketamine-assisted therapy after years of doing the work. The self-awareness is there, but something still feels stuck. We often work with folks who feel this way:
"I can explain exactly why I'm anxious, but knowing why hasn't made it stop."
"I feel disconnected from myself, like I'm watching my own life from the outside."
"The trauma is still living in my body, even though I've talked about it for years."
"I'm exhausted from holding it all together all the time."
Ketamine-assisted therapy can open pathways to healing that talk alone hasn't reached. With the right therapist and an intentional approach, you can start to find real, felt relief.

Amy Toig
Good fit for chronic illness & chronic pain
Hi! I'm Amy, an integrative therapist who blends somatic therapy and mindfulness to support healing at the root. I’m especially passionate about supporting people living with chronic illness and chronic pain, which often co-exist with other experiences like complex trauma and living with a marginalized identity. Therapy with me is an intentional container to slow down and reflect, bringing in the assistance of ketamine when needed to reach new levels of awareness and change.

Hi, I'm Ellen. I’m the founder of Stillpoint Therapy Collective and have over ten years of experience in the field. Somatic trauma therapy is at the core of my work, and I blend methods like sensorimotor psychotherapy and brainspotting with ketamine-assisted psychotherapy to help you tune into what your body is telling you. This awareness is the place where real change starts. Together, we’ll start paying attention to what’s gone ignored for too long, so you can take steps toward a more engaged, fulfilling life.

FAQs about ketamine-assisted therapy
-
Ketamine-assisted therapy (KAT/KAP) is a therapeutic process that combines the use of ketamine, a dissociative anesthetic, with guided therapeutic support. Ketamine has been shown to facilitate profound shifts in consciousness and emotional processing, creating the conditions for healing to take place on a deep, somatic level.
While ketamine is traditionally used as an anesthetic, research has shown it can be a powerful tool in the treatment of mental health conditions, especially when combined with psychotherapy. In our approach, ketamine helps create a heightened sense of relaxation and openness, making it easier to access difficult emotions and memories in a safe, controlled environment.

During a ketamine-assisted therapy session, you will be guided through the process in a comfortable, supportive setting. You’ll begin by taking a small, carefully prescribed dose of ketamine under the supervision of a licensed therapist. As the ketamine takes effect, you’ll enter a relaxed, open state, which can help you:
Access deeper layers of the subconscious
Process unresolved trauma and emotional pain
Release negative thought patterns or limiting beliefs
Enhance emotional awareness and insight
Build resilience and self-compassion
While you are in this state, your therapist will be present to guide you through the experience, offering support, validation, and integration of the insights and emotions that arise.
Each session is unique, as the experience and therapeutic process will vary based on your individual needs. Whether you're dealing with past trauma, navigating depression or anxiety, or simply seeking a transformational experience, ketamine-assisted therapy offers a way to access new perspectives and healing.

Ketamine infusions are medical appointments, usually IV ketamine delivered in a clinic, focused on the medication's biochemical effect. Ketamine-assisted therapy pairs the medicine with psychotherapy: dedicated preparation and integration sessions with your therapist. This ensures that the insights that surface during your experience are processed, supported, and woven into lasting change.

Ketamine-assisted therapy can be a powerful treatment option for those struggling with:
Trauma (including PTSD)
Depression, including treatment-resistant depression
Anxiety and panic disorders
Grief and loss
Chronic pain or physical tension related to emotional stress
Addiction recovery
Generalized stress or emotional burnout
It’s also helpful for those who feel stuck in their healing journey and are looking for a new approach to deepen their self-awareness and growth.

Your ketamine-assisted therapy session will be conducted in a safe, supportive space designed to enhance relaxation and emotional safety. Here's what you can expect:
Pre-Session Preparation: We’ll begin with a brief check-in to discuss your goals for the session and make sure you’re feeling comfortable and ready.
Ketamine Administration: You’ll receive a calculated dose of ketamine, which is administered in a manner that allows for a safe, controlled experience.
Therapeutic Journey: As the ketamine begins to take effect, you’ll enter a relaxed state, where you may experience a sense of disconnection from your body or surroundings. This allows you to explore thoughts, memories, and emotions in a non-judgmental space.
Integration and Reflection: After the ketamine effects wear off, we’ll spend time reflecting on your experience and integrating insights into your daily life. This step is crucial to ensure the therapeutic experience translates into lasting changes.

Ketamine treatment is sometimes covered by insurance, but it depends. Stillpoint Therapy Collective is out-of-network, so sessions aren't billed directly to insurance. However, we can provide a superbill you may submit for possible partial reimbursement of the therapy portion. The ketamine medication itself is handled separately through a prescribing provider.
