Somatic therapy is a body-based approach that helps clients connect with sensations, emotions, and patterns held in the nervous system. It is especially helpful for trauma, anxiety, and stress, supporting deeper healing beyond talk therapy.

-
The first step is to fill out our contact form. We’ll match you with a therapist who fits your needs and schedule, then schedule a free phone consultation so you can see if it feels like a good fit before beginning therapy.
How It Works:
-
The first step is filling out our contact form, where you’ll tell us a bit about yourself—what you’re looking for in therapy, what kind of support you need, your budget, etc.
-
Our intake process is personal—not automated. We carefully review what you share and connect you directly with one or two therapists at Stillpoint who are most aligned with your goals and preferences. Whether you’re looking for LGBTQ-affirming therapy, trauma therapy, or somatic therapy, we’ll help you find the right therapist.
-
You’ll be invited to a complimentary 15–20 minute consultation call with a therapist. Many people ask, “What happens in a therapy consultation?” It’s a chance to meet, ask questions, and get a feel for whether this therapist is a good fit for you.
-
If it feels right, you and your therapist will move forward by scheduling your first session. Therapy is a collaborative process—you’ll decide together how often to meet and what your goals are.
