My approach to therapy is non-pathologizing. I believe our experiences and the environment we grow up in shape how we feel and respond to the world. I believe your symptoms are purposeful and that you do everything you do for a good reason.

When we work together, we will work to identify the filters through which you view yourself and the world around you, understand and appreciate why they developed, and move toward seeing things clearly for what they are. By understanding what’s beneath the surface, you can begin to relate to your emotions in a different way, and start to make conscious choices aligned with your values.

I will act as a guide, but I believe you already have everything you need to heal and experience life fully. To support you through this process, I primarily use relational and psychodynamic approaches. I also integrate techniques from Internal Family Systems and Somatic Therapy.

East coast-born and California-based, my style is no BS with plenty of humor, yet grounded in compassion, non-judgment, and kind curiosity.

FAQs

  • Individual Therapy $200/session

    Couples Therapy $225/session

I’m out-of-network and can provide superbills for possible reimbursement. I keep a limited number of sliding-scale spots based on need and schedule.

  • I help women break the cycle of anxiety and perfectionism—chronic overthinking, self-criticism, indecision, people-pleasing, and burnout. I also support career/academic stress, relationship uncertainty, and life transitions. My goal is to help you quiet fear, trust your inner voice, and live in alignment with your values.

  • I’m trauma-informed and relational, using research-backed therapy to get to the root—not quick fixes. We’ll map the patterns keeping you stuck, build an inner compass, and practice skills for self-trust and follow-through. Our work is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your needs.

  • We’ll untangle the perfectionism loop—high standards → fear of mistakes → avoidance/self-criticism—and replace it with values-driven action, self-compassion, and “good-enough” experiments. You’ll practice tolerating imperfection, making decisions faster, and celebrating progress, not just outcomes.

  • Schedule a free 15-minute consult. We’ll talk about goals, fit, and logistics, and outline a starting plan. If I’m not the best match, I’ll offer thoughtful referrals within our team or network.

  • No. While many of my clients are in San Francisco, I provide therapy for perfectionism (and related anxiety, overthinking, and self-criticism) via secure telehealth to clients anywhere in California.
