Therapy is a space for reflection, healing, and growth.
At the heart of therapy is the relationship we build. Feeling truly seen, heard, and understood can be healing in itself. From that foundation, we'll work together to develop insight, build tools, and help you feel more grounded in yourself and more connected in your life. I bring realness and lived experience into the room – and a belief that meaningful change is possible through self-awareness and connection.
My style is warm, open, and direct. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all model. Our work will be shaped by your unique needs and experiences. As trust and connection grow, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, including psychodynamic, attachment-based, humanistic, relational, somatic, existential, solution-focused, and depth-oriented modalities. I work with adults, teens, couples, parents, and creatives.
Clients often seek support for anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, low self-esteem, relationship issues, parenting, family dynamics, life transitions, work stress, emotional dysregulation, loneliness and disconnection, and young adult individuation.
About Me
I'm originally from New York City and have lived in Venice, California since 2001. Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 25 years in the creative arts – a path that continues to shape my work with curiosity, creativity, and deep respect for individual expression.
I've lived in France and Brazil, and love travel, languages, and connecting across cultures. Outside the office, you'll usually find me with my family, our dog, and our three Maine Coon cats – or doing yoga, hiking, reading, or watching a great movie. I have a long-standing interest in dreams and the unconscious, and bring creative dreamwork into therapy when it feels meaningful. I'm a mom to three sons – including teenagers – so I understand firsthand the complexities, challenges, and rewards of parenting and family life.
